Foliage
Foliage is vitally important in any flower
display arrangement or bouquet.
It provides a framework for your flowers and can form the vital
finishing touch -
adding colour, contrast and texture.
Exotic foliage can add that extra zing to elevate your bouquet or
arrangement
from a simple bunch to a work of art!
There are
hundreds of different foliages from all over the world
which are available at the Dutch market. Your local florist
will have several different
types depending on the work she has to carry out.
We at Flower Delivery UK like to use foliage to provide a skirt
around our bouquets
to give them a framework. This tough foliage also helps
protect
the flowers during transportation.
For a bit of zing we add free-flowing grasses, burgundy Leucadendron
as well as colourful twigs -
picked from the garden at the back of our workshop!
Here's a few ideas for foliage that you can use. We've divided this two types -
Commercially Available Foliage and, Foliage from your Garden.
